Asics Tiger x Footpatrol Gelsaga Anime Revival

90’s anime got a sneaky breathe of life in this AsicsTiger x Footpatrol revival of GELSAGA, the MECHA inspired anime sneaker. 

First debuting in 1991, almost 27 years later the rebirth if a classic launches in an exclusive Gift Pack in Titanium Grey and Iridium Blue colorways. 

Completely reworked and modernised, the sneaker features an EVA mid sole with a sneaky Gel patch, a mesh upper for breathability and tender foot loving. What any anime character needs to ensue a battle ahead. 

The classic Tiger Stripes are parently gloss, while the sneaker is a suede construction, with a terry cloth inner. Co-branding is featured on the tongue with FOOTPATROL  under the Asics logo and the Footpatrol iconic gas mask featured on the lace bed, a subtle nod to its predecessor is the OG product code printer on the lace tips, TJG-487 (talk about details). 

The exclusive gift pack, courtesy of Art & Craft, is exclusively for the first 25 customers across Footpatrol’s flagship stores. Containg an anime lovers wet dream with comics, stickers and a manga style robot. If you live in London why not check out the giant robot in store?
