Ariana Grande’s Wicked For Good Tour Wardrobe
Spellbinding style at every stop.
If Ariana Grande’s press tour for Wicked has shown us anything, it’s that she knows how to make a red carpet moment feel like part of the story she’s telling. From vintage couture to contemporary statement pieces, every outfit has been thoughtful, glamorous, and full of personality. Romantic shapes, sequinned details, and playful flourishes dominate her looks, each one leaving a lasting impression. Watching her move through London, Singapore, Paris, and New York, it was clear to me that this tour wasn’t just about the show; it was a showcase of style, too.
London Premiere

Ariana wore a black tulle gown covered in oversized sequins. The dress, a 1952 Gilbert Adrian creation, carried the kind of old Hollywood glamour that could easily fit into the magical world of Wicked. The dramatic sparkle and flowing tulle echoed the theatrical energy of the show, making it feel like the gown belonged on stage as much as on the red carpet.
Paris Premiere

In Paris, she embraced boldness with a striking pink gown. It was playful yet sophisticated, effortlessly blending Parisian chic with Ariana’s signature glamour. I love how every detail, from the pink hue to the tailoring, felt intentional, confident, and stylish without feeling overdone.
The Wicked: One Wonderful Night Special

For the special, Ariana wore a Bob Mackie gown in a soft ombré. The dress had a light, flowing quality that moved beautifully as she walked, giving it a subtle, ethereal feel. I really liked how it captured a sense of the film without feeling costume-like. It was a reminder that her red carpet choices can be thoughtful, while still feeling connected to the world of Wicked.
This 16Arlington look is one of my favourites. The blush pink gown, with its fur accents and delicate bow, radiates pure Glinda energy. It’s playful and whimsical, yet still carries a sense of drama without ever feeling over the top. Looks like this really shows Ariana’s ability to infuse personality into every outfit she wears.
Singapore Premiere

For Singapore Ariana pulled in my opinion two of her most Glindafied looks. Her custom Pierpaolo Piccioli for Balenciaga was one of those looks that made me stop mid scroll. The peplum silhouette gave it structure, but the sequins added movement. I loved how it felt dramatic without being heavy-handed, striking a balance between couture elegance and the theatrical flair of Wicked.
Ariana changed into another fairytale-inspired gown, this one by Thom Browne. The soft blush off-the-shoulder bodice shimmered with subtle silvery-blue and cream sequins, while layers of tulle from the sleeves to the skirt moved beautifully around her. Seeing this look, I couldn’t help but think about how red carpet style can borrow a little from the stage, and still feel completely wearable.
Ariana also stunned in Robert Wun, a gown that felt truly theatrical with its flowing shapes and whimsical details. The butterflies scattered across the dress were my favourite part; they added a delicate, almost magical touch that made the whole look feel like it had stepped right out of Wicked. It was a beautiful, show-stopping design.
New York Premiere

The tour concluded in New York, with Ariana in Schiaparelli featuring an oversized tulle skirt and striking contrasting elements. I really liked the way the bold colors played off each other; it was dramatic yet refined. To me, it was the perfect piece to close out the press tour, embodying both the theatricality of Wicked and Ariana’s own elevated sense of style.
Ariana mentioned in an interview that for this press tour, she wanted to present herself as the actress who played Glinda, rather than leaning into literal interpretations of the character like she did on her previous tour. I think she nailed it. Each outfit felt thoughtful, glamorous, and just a little magical, perfectly capturing the theatrical energy of Wicked while standing on its own as a red carpet moment.
