The two iconic designers Alo Yoga and Frankies Bikinis have teamed up to release, in our opinion, the swimwear collection of the season. Alo has been slaying the activewear game for some time now, with celebs from Kendall Jenner to Addison Rae sporting the luxe brand in their workouts, and you can’t scroll through your summer Instagram feed without seeing an influencer in Frankies. Founded by Malibu’s Francesca Aiello, Frankies Bikinis designs fun and flirty swimwear that fit every sun-soaked destination.
The customers shopping from these brands are similar types of women; those who live the Californian active healthy lifestyle, sipping green juices on their way to pilates with the girls. Chances are if you’re not sweating it out in the gym in a super cute Alo set, you are down at Santa Monica beach dipping in the sea in Frankies. This line was a natural progression for Alo Yoga who was already broadening their lines into makeup and beauty, and now into swim. This collab is so naturally beautiful and confident, and was totally inevitable and we couldn’t be happier it is here in time for a long hot summer.
The 28-piece limited-edition collection sports fashion-forward trendy suits that are both sporty and sexy, functional and flattering. Bikini tops are in the classic Tia triangle shape, along with wrap and underwire, and bottoms in the string style with alo accented on the back, and the Katarina cheeky style with alo on the side of the hip, and of course the satin one piece. Colors range from the 90’s pink to the black checker print and the collection also dropped a bucket hat in these prints, also available in 23 different colorways.
