ALIS AW25: A Streetwear Giant Reborn

ALIS made a triumphant return to Copenhagen Fashion Week.

POSTED BY SIMONE STUBGAARD

Closing day two of Copenhagen Fashion Week, ALIS made a triumphant return—reviving its underground legacy with a fresh edge. In a tented courtyard in central Copenhagen, the air was crisp, the energy raw, and the statement clear: ALIS is back.

The collection blended nostalgia with reinvention—acid-wash denim, oversized leather shirting, cropped bombers, and long, structured trenches. Low-slung jeans revealed checkered boxers, and white Kurt Cobain-style sunglasses sealed the effortless cool. For women, floor-grazing plaid skirts, hip-hugging pinstripes, and matching bra tops brought a sleek, grunge-inspired twist, styled by fashion icon Pernille Teisbaek.

Founded in Christiania in 1995, ALIS has always been about community, culture, and raw creativity. Now, with Tobias Birk Nielsen leading design and Rains co-founder Philip Lotko backing the brand, ALIS is stepping onto the global stage—honoring its roots while shaping the future of streetwear.
