Adidas Y-3 Has Just Dropped Its High-Tech New Runner 4D
Next level.
adidas Y-3 has just dropped its highly anticipated Runner 4D, combining Japanese craftsmanship with innovative Digital Light Synthesis technology. The sneaker, first seen at Paris Fashion Week, sports the same 4D printed midsole as the popular Futurecraft 4D – using digital light projection, oxygen-permeable optics, and programmable liquid resins to generate high performance, durable polymeric products.
Yep, it's frickin' high tech. And no, if you suffer from trypophobia (that's a fear of clusters of small holes), you probably won't like the aesthetic. We think it's pretty beautiful though – the contrasting leather overlays totally make it.
The Y-3 Runner 4D, retailing at around $550, has just dropped today for a limited release online and select stores worldwide. END.'s in-store draw closes at 4 p.m. EST today.
