Adidas Celebrates Women With Gorgeous New Samba Deep Hue Pack
In a sneaker scene that has been traditionally been run by the boys, Adidas Consortium is working hard to recognize their equally important female audience. The athletic powerhouse’s latest shoe trio has been put together by a group of female creatives to celebrate strength and femininity, and the results are absolutely gorgeous.
The new collection is designed specifically for women, and this “Deep Hue” pack reboots the timeless Samba silhouette in three rich new colorways. The shades—green, purple and off-white—are an ode to the Women’s Trade Union League, which played a pivotal role in women being granted the right to vote.
Adidas gave this kick an ultra premium look by juxtaposing a soft suede upper with an elegant gumsole. In addition, the sneaker has premier details, including embossed Samba lettering, a branded leather insole and tongue label with a copper rivet.
What makes this shoe even better is that a percentage of the sales will be donated to Moving Goalposts (MTG), a community-based organization focused on empowering girls and young women in Kenya.
Keep your eyes peeled for the “Deep Hue” pack dropping at Consortium retailers on March 8 for $150.
