Activist Fashion In New Streetwear Label KROST
What if you can help and ignite social change through fashion?
New Streetwear label KROST’S founder Samuel Krost and Creative Director Scott Camaron were horrified by the tragic mass shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida this year, and they wanted to do something about it. New fashion brand KROST is their answer.
Taking to the streets via streetwear, the two men aim to use fashion as a medium through which to incite social change. Samuel Krost and Scott Camaron will contribute the proceeds from the sales of their first collection “First Semester” for KROST to their new partner March For Our Lives, an organization that raises money and awareness for gun reform.
Not only to raise awareness, but the brand also aims to build a community through its clothing. Inspired by the freedom movements of the 60's, the debut collection presents its modernized take on the collegiate varsity and preppy styles of this time period. KROST contributes by raising money for the cause but also in helping to form and visualize this community of people that want political change and reform!
The brand hosts its very own pop-up at 357 Canal Street in New York City now through December 10th.
