A Foodie In Paris

What to eat in a day when visiting the city of love

POSTED BY SOPHIE CLARK

Paris is a city that knows how to eat! If you're ready to embark on a delicious adventure, we've got you covered from breakfast to nightcap. Whether you're a local or just visiting, here’s a fun guide to the best foodie spots in the city that will make your taste buds dance all day long.

The French Bastards

Starting the day in Paris means pastries, and the best place to go is The French Bastards. With locations across the city the bakery's success comes from the incredible quality of food. A simple croissant from there will blow your mind and set the standard so high you might just need to make a return trip. But if you don't want to keep it simple their blend of classic french and trending flavors is unmissable.

Double Dragon

By lunchtime, you may want to switch it up and that's where Double Dragon comes in. Owned by French-Filipino sisters, Double Dragon is a unique fusion that will blow you away. The food is bright and flavourful. The atmosphere is bright. And you'll leave feeling full and happy.

Folderol

Between lunch and dinner, you have to make time for Folderol. It is undoubtedly some of the best ice cream in the world. You'll have your pick of interesting flavors, including olive oil, which is delicious despite what you may think. This is also where you should go if you're on the lookout for traditional Parisian hot chocolate. It's rich, thick, and has a depth of flavor that's hard to get anywhere else.

Yam'Tcha

For your last meal of the day yam'Tcha is the place we recommend. The Michelin star-holding restaurant is everything a foodie could ever want. The menu is a surprise, you are served course after course of food beyond your wildest dreams. And to make it better the courses are served with wines carefully selected by a sommelier or, the thing that gives the restaurant its edge, with teas selected by a tea expert to pair in the way a wine would.

Little Red Door

After a long day, just a short walk away, you can wind down with a drink. Little Red Door is regarded as one of the best bars in the world, currently ranking 6th. Their menu pushes French produce to the forefront with their farm-to-glass model. But that doesn't mean their excellent bartenders can't make you the best of whatever you want.
