Gorgeous, Gorgeous Girls Wear Ganni X New Balance
Copenhagen based brand Ganni and New Balance create summer sneakers.
Fresh from their Juicy Couture collaboration, Copenhagen’s star brand, Ganni has dropped another new collaboration. This time the husband-and-wife duo behind Ganni, Nicolaj and Ditte Reffstrup, joined forces with sportswear brand New Balance to create two distinct sneakers.
The sneakers themselves are re-imaginations of the classic New Balance 2002R, the sneakers have been upgraded from their usual grey tone to including shades of green, cream and vibrant pops of colour, completed with the Scandi brands logo monogrammed to add a fun y2k feel.
Not only are the sneakers stylish they follow New Balance’s green leaf certification, which means that 50% or more of the upper materials were sourced as environmentally preferred. The rest of the shoes are made from 80% recycled content synthetic overlays, 100% recycled content mesh, 30% recycled lace content and 5% regrind rubber outsole.
These sneakers have a feeling of optimism to them, with their fresh design and environmentally conscious construction making them a natural fit for the #GANNIgirls that are loyal to the feel-good brand.
