Daily Paper X KOMONO Contemporary Eyewear Collaboration

Amsterdam-based fashion brand Daily Paper and Belgian accessory brand KOMONO have joined forces to create another collection. The SS21 collaboration fuses Daily Paper’s African heritage aesthetics with KOMONO’s take on contemporary eyewear. 

The two pieces are unisex and inspired by Daily Paper’s “Future Roots” lace styles, with lace details running through the entire silhouette. The style of the sunglasses taps into the memories of the past captured through KOMONO’s contemporary point of view. Colourways of black and ivory were produced- the ivory colourway features a gold logo, while the black colourway has a silver Daily Paper’s logo. Additionally, both designs come with dark polarized lenses with 100 per cent UV protection. The frames are also crafted from acetate. The black pair in particular is made from recycled materials. 

Retailing at $131 USD each, Daily Paper X KOMONO’s second eyewear collection is now available to purchase at Daily Paper’s and KOMONO’s physical stores or alternatively on both the brands' websites.
