My 2025 Fashion Predictions

Bringing together the past, present, and personality in 2025.

She looks as if she raided her grandmother's attic and a thrift store in the same morning. Her style is a rebellious whisper against the tyranny of trends, a celebration of the unique and the lived-in. She is my idea of 2025.

Camo

This year, we witnessed the triumphant return of leopard print, a bold and unapologetic statement. I predict that 2025 will see a similar resurgence of camo, once a symbol of military might, now shedding its uniform and finding refuge in everyday wear. Imagine oversized camo jeans paired with chunky trainers, or a camouflage jacket thrown over a delicate lace slip dress – the unexpected juxtaposition is key.

Lace

Lace, that whisper of femininity, emerges from the shadows. Think bold, graphic lace overlays on leather jackets, or delicate lace peeking through ripped jeans. Lacy corsets for a cocktail night with the girls, alongside delicate, laced ballet flats, or kitten heels. It's a touch of the romantic, tempered with a healthy dose of rebellion.

Double denim

Double denim, once a controversial fashion statement, will return! But this time, it doesn't always have to match. It's about clashing. I think 2025 will showcase the chaotically cool side of fashion. A light wash denim jacket over dark wash jeans, a denim skirt paired with a denim shirt – the key is to embrace the unexpected and make it your own.

Fringes

Fringes are having a moment, swinging with every step, and this trend, I believe, will undoubtedly swing right into the New Year. Fringe boots, paired with skinny jeans or a flowing maxi dress, add a touch of the Wild West to any outfit. The movement, the rhythm, the undeniable coolness: fringes are here to stay.

Boho chic

Staying on theme with a Wild West aesthetic, Boho chic will return with a modern twist. Think flowing maxi dresses, wide-brimmed hats, and suede boots, all infused with a touch of the Wild West. It's about embracing freedom, individuality, and a touch of the bohemian spirit.

Maximalist jewellery

Maximalist jewellery is making a statement. Think layered necklaces, oversized earrings, and statement rings, all piled on with abandon. It's about embracing the chaos, the clash of colours and textures, and creating a unique, personal aesthetic.

In the chaos of these trends lies a haunting, yet somehow magical element: nothing looks new, but everything feels familiar. It's a style that celebrates individuality, embraces imperfection, and ultimately, reflects the unique spirit of the wearer. It will showcase the wilder side of fashion, where chaos is crafted into fashion to create an effortlessly cool look.
