Virgil Abloh Takes On The Art World As His COMING OF AGE Exhibition Arrives In Seoul
Exploring the complexities of boyhood and male youth.
As the Artistic Director of Louis Vuttion's menswear as well as Chief Executive Officer at Off-White, Virgil Abloh’s taking the fashion industry by storm. Now he’s stepping into the art world with his COMING OF AGE exhibition. After debuting at the Little Big Man gallery in Los Angeles, the exhibition has travelled to the Espace Louis Vuitton in Beijing, Munich and Tokyo before arriving in its current location, Seoul.
The exhibition explores the complexities of boyhood and male youth. The pieces chosen by Abloh reflect the realities of social economics, subcultures and isolation juxtaposed by the optimism that comes with youth. 18 emerging artists from around the world have their work featured in the exhibition from Deanna Templeton from California to Nobuyoshi Araki from Tokyo.
Virgil Abloh's COMING OF AGE exhibition is being held at the Espace Louis Vuitton in Seoul and is open to the public until April 26th. Tickets for the COMING OF AGE exhibition can be purchased online, by email or telephone.
