Malala Graduates From Oxford University
It’s time for some well-deserved ‘netflix, seading, and sleep’.
Malala Yousafzai, the 22-year-old activist who won a Noble Peace Prize for fighting for women’s education, has now completed her own Oxford PPE Degree, graduating from the world’s top university.
Whilst she’s been inspiring so many around the world, it’s time for her own celebrations, as she announced on Friday, in an Instagram post, her graduation celebration.
Alongside images of her with her family, and celebrating with cake and confetti, Malala wrote: ‘Hard to express my joy and gratitude right now as I completed my Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree at Oxford. I don’t know what’s ahead. For now, it will be Netflix, reading and sleep.’

This achievement is just the most recent of a long line-up Malala has accomplished, after she survived an attack by the Taliban, who failed at silencing her. She has become an inspiration, advocating women’s education, founding the Malala Foundation, and even being a UN Messenger of Peace. It’s about time she was able to relax with some Netflix and sleep!
