Introducing Caine London: The Label That's Totally Reinventing Your Denim Staples

POSTED BY ALLISON EDWARDS

Caine London is a design collaboration between stylist Hayley Caine and musician Matt Allchin. Since launching in September 2015, the brand has already caught the attention of Vogue in the U.S., Netherlands and Korea, so it’s safe to say this is a label you should keep your eyes on.

Caine London was founded as a remedy to fast fashion, and each of the witty, playful designs are handcrafted to ensure these wearable works of art last for many years to come. The label’s newest collection captures the recent obsession with ‘90s streetwear but gives it an artfully fun spin. The range comfortably fuses pop, graffiti and tattoo art to create a garment with completely individual character.

Beefing up customization and DIY, Caine and Allchin have taken classic Levi jackets and standard jumpers and spiced them into a range of unisex designs, which pay homage to the aesthetics of life at the Peckham canal— celebrating freedom and a slower, more contemplative pace of living. The range’s looks are effortlessly cool and could easily find their place in any street style lover’s wardrobe.
