Kicking Off The New Year: Last Week's 10 Hottest Sneaker Drops
Time to bid farewell to your slippers.
Don't know about you, but we're only just resurfacing from the boozy-foody haze of the holidays (what day even is it?), meaning we've been shamefully off-guard with our sneaker game. But while we've all been nursing our food babies, making half-hearted New Year's resolutions and utterly failing at Dry January, turns out the sneaker world is just as frenetic as ever. The past week has seen plenty of tasty new releases to wean us off our slipper dependency and get us back up to speed. Kick off the New Year in style with these ten fresh drops.
Nike SF-AF1 “Vintage Wine”
With enough booziness to match your festive exploits, Nike's hyped high-top Air Force 1 sees yet another wine colorway. In contrast to the patent “Port Wine” pack, the new “Vintage Wine” is top-to-toe textured in a pink-red partial suede soft upper with a utility-style double ankle strap. The perfect feminist flex, “The Force is Female” branding adorns the top strap and elongated heel tab.

Alexander McQueen Oversized Runner
Love 'em or hate 'em, chunky sneaks ain't gonna die anytime soon. Arguably much less ugly than many of the daddy chunkers out there right now, Alexander McQueen's sleek white premium leather shoe has all the style trademarks of the classic sports sneaker with a flatform rubber sole. The design is accented by a contrasting black suede heel and a embossed logos at the heel and tongue.

FILA Disruptor EVO Sockfit
Another hot trend continuing into spring 2018 is the sock-sneaker hybrid, and this FILA take is the most original we've seen in a while. Instead of going for a complete sock silhouette, FILA uses its fierce Disruptor 2 as the base, extending a short tube sock to envelope the ankle in heritage sportswear chic – perfect for when all your sports socks have been swallowed by the washing machine. The Disruptor EVO Sockfit comes in an all-white with red and navy branding and a black with a contrasting white midsole and white branding.
