Skechers Korea Reclaims The Ugly Sneaker With Limited Edition One Piece Collab

Skechers gets back to its '90s roots, reclaiming the ugly sneaker trend via an Asia-exclusive collaboration between its Korean branch and the popular '90s animation series One Piece. The first shoe to use the show's intellectual property, the limited-edition D’lites 2 Sweet Monster silhouette draws inspiration from popular One Piece characters like Luffy, Chopper, Sangji, Zoro, Law and Doflamingo in six different colorways.

The sneaker's wavy outsole and caging details are emphasized in the eye-catching multicolored designs, finished off by the individual characters on the tongue. An air-cooled memory insole provides optimum comfort.

Pre-order the Skechers x One Piece collection on January 15 to receive a surprise bonus gift. The sneakers, which come in a special box for the collaboration, are set to hit stores and online on January 18.
