Hear Tinashe Fight For Love On Fiery New Track “Flame”

Tinashe’s sophomore album, Joyride, doesn’t have a release date yet, but the songstress did give us a fiery taste of her upcoming record with a new song drop on Wednesday night. Tinashe released “Flame,” and the tune is a departure from the dance-heavy singles we’ve seen from the star in the past. The track moves at a comfortable, medium temp and is more similar to Taylor Swift’s “Style.”

“Flame” finds Tinashe desperately trying to hold on to her companion despite their fiery love coming to a chilly end. "My body hurts with every heartbeat/ Just say I'm not the only one," she pleads. "C'mon, tell me that you've still got the flame for me/ And tell me that you still want to stay: don't leave." Around three minutes in length, the production is earworm inducingly on-point.

The singer has also alluded to a music video for the new track on Instagram. Listen to “Flame” above and peep all the Insta teasers below.
