The teaser trailer for Lily Wachowski’s long-awaited Matrix sequel has finally dropped, but not in the way you might think.
It’s more like a teaser for a teaser. Debuting yesterday, the website features interactive content, including the choice between the famous red and blue pill. Fans must choose between the, in order to watch the 15 second teaser for the trailer at WhatistheMatrix.com
Featuring impressive sci-fi special effects, the franchise’s green coding, as well as appearances from Keanu Reeves (Neo) and newcomer to the cast Neil Patrick Harris.
Other announced cast members include returning veterans Carrie Anne Moss as Trinity, Jada Pinkett Smith as Niobe and Daniel Bernhardt as Agent Johnson. New to the cast is Priyanka Chopra, Jonathan Groff, Ellen Hollman and Christina Ricci.
The official trailer will debut on September 9th while the film is slated to hit theatres on December 22nd 2021.
