Remo Ruffini, the CEO of the Moncler group in the luxury fashion industry, has a passion and urgency for sustainability. His group has been ranked first in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices in the “Textile, Apparel & Luxury Goods” sector for the fifth year in a row, scoring 89/100. This reflects the group's commitment to sustainability in its daily business operations.

The Moncler group has a sustainability plan called “Born to Protect,” which outlines its goals for the next few years. The group aims to reach net-zero emissions by 2050, recycle nylon waste, and use 50% of materials with lower environmental impact in its collections. The group has also been carbon neutral since 2021, used 90% of renewable energy worldwide in 2022, and reduced single-use plastic.


The group is not only environmentally responsible, but also socially responsible. Moncler has a diverse and inclusive workforce, with 69% of female employees and 51% of women in management positions in 2022.
