Best Of London Collections: Men Ss17

POSTED BY DANIJEL VUKOJA

Take a chair and sit down. We are proudly opening the Spring/Summer 2k17 season.
How effing exciting! Slowly but surely worldwide designers are going to present colors, shapes and fabrics during fashion week after week after week and therefore will more or less dictate the latest fashion trends for next year. And what’s a better way to lurk at first indications than during London Collections Men, showcasing the forefront of men’s fashion (and even women’s fashion)? Exactly! Here is our top 5.

1. Christopher Shannon
Mr. Shannon is creating modern and relevant garments drawing on diverse references. That blue, that denim, these shapes and cuts are giving us fashion-gasms. Oh lord!

2. Ximon Lee We just talked about him last week on our “Denim is not dead” post and it’s still not dying. fizzy_magazine_london_collection_men_ss17_ximon_lee_

3. Astrid Andersen
Baby, baby, baby. The sports inspired aesthetic mixed with the beige color scheme is just life.

4. Bobby Abley
Bobby Abley is known for his unique charm, wit and humour, blending nostalgic and playful Dinsey imagery with a contemporary menswear design. For SS17 he is taking us to the world of Aladdin.

5. Wales Bonner
Wales Bonner’s design idiom explores black male representation and is recognizable through it’s opulent use of embroidery, jewellery and hybrid of African craft and couture techniques.
