Will Smith Chops Off His Son Jaden's Hair For A New Movie, And The Transformation Is Drastic

This just in: Jaden Smith will no longer be whipping his hair back and forth with his younger sister, Willow. The star bid farewell to his bleached dreadlocks with a little help from his dad, Will Smith. 

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air alum shared a photo on his Facebook page showing before and after photos of Jaden’s new look. "Getting Jaden Smith ready for filming #LifeInAYear… maybe I should've used scissors?!" Will captioned the pictures. 

Jaden is currently in Toronto filming his new movie “Life in a Year,” which is produced by his father. In the flick, Jaden plays a high school senior who discovers his girlfriend is dying from cancer, so he makes it his mission to give her a full life in the last year she has left to live. The short hair is for his role in the film, and we feel certain we’re going to need a box of tissues during the movie to deal to with both the sad plot line and seeing this extreme hair transformation on the big screen.
