Balenciaga To Combine Men's And Women's Collections In Future Shows

Style has no gender.

POSTED BY DEE CUNNING

In a revolutionary business move, Balenciaga announces that its fall/winter 2018 runway show will feature a unified men's and women's collection.

With Demna Gvasalia at the helm, the fashion house has seen a meteoric rise in popularity this year. The woke designer seems to have an unparalleled knack for capturing the zeitgeist of popular culture, which, as he is now proving, is not only limited to his ironic, memeable designs.

Another of this year's fashion favorites, Gucci, has already chosen to participate in dual-gender runway shows. And with many streetwear heads disregarding gender conventions in favor of unbounded style, we can't help but wonder, could this be the future of fashion?

The debut men's and women's show will be at Paris Fashion Week in March 2018. Until then, check out these staple unisex balanciaga looks below.
