5 Ways To Recreate Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s Dreamy Minimalist Wardrobe

Take note.

POSTED BY ELLI CARTER

From luxe classics by Bottega Veneta and The Row - to staple basics from anywhere between Khaite, Low Classic and high-street brand Zara - Rosie H-W has proved herself as one of our all-time favourite fashion icons by mastering the perfect minimalist wardrobe.

Bursting with polished tailoring, neutral, earthy tones and what seems to be all of the most covetable (usually sold out) shoes, bags and accessories of the moment – her impeccable style keeps us constantly looking at ways to recreate her elegant ensembles.

A master at dressing for Autumn especially, we’ve put together a guide on how to achieve a timeless wardrobe like Rosie’s just in time for the winter months, giving you plenty of time to get you’re A/W head on and get searching for the best picks of the season.

#1 Invest In Quality Staples

As times are changing, so are our shopping habits – and following the recent pandemic we’ve had the time to reflect on our consumption and the ways that we shop. Over the last few months, it’s become clear that as much as we like to keep up with the current trends and stay ahead of the game - we’ve instead realised that there’s nothing like investing in good quality staples that will last you a lifetime. Take Rosie for example, crisp white shirts in silk and cotton, black tuxedo blazers and additional leather alternatives, matching structured suit pants and classic trench coats in black and beige variations. Together? The perfect Autumn capsule.

#2 Neutral Tailoring

Rosie often opts for tailored separates, usually favouring oversized boxy blazers in neutral colours such as tan, white and olive, paired with smart black pants in different variations.

#3 Experiment With Basics

H-W couldn’t get enough of Zara’s infamous bodysuit this year – so much that she owned it in three different colors including white, black and nude. No wonder the basic went viral following Rosie’s series of uber-chic outfit pics earlier this year, back when the halter neck made its debut. As you can see, Rosie isn’t afraid to mix low-end with high-end, as she was seen not long before sporting a pared-back, casual, day-to-day look in a red Khaite rib-knit top and blue denim jeans.

#4 Bottega, Bottega, Bottega

The list is endless when it comes to Rosie’s collection of Bottega Veneta – whether it be one of her many iconic Cassette’s or a variation of the simple yet modern Pouch bag, a pair of Daniel Lee’s distinctive square-toe sandals from his desirable shoe collection or a sleek and sophisticated tailored ensemble from the brands ready-to-wear collection – it’s rare to see an occasion where Rosie isn’t championing the British creative directors minimalist designs.

#5 Gold Jewelry, Always

Rosie’s enviable outfits are never complete without an item from her beautiful collection of gold jewelry. Her daily go to? A Tiffany City HardWear graduated link necklace paired with gold hoops. We also spotted her wearing Laura Lombardi chain anklets to elevate her cosy WFH grey joggers look. It’s the little things!
