Fuck Fashion Shows, Let's Party: VFiles Presents Bold 2018 Spring Show

Showcasing four young designers.

POSTED BY DEE CUNNING

The VFiles 2018 Spring show was arguably more of a party than a fashion show. Like the most IDGAF party guest, the New York Fashion Week show was an hour-and-six-minutes fashionably late, with warm-up dancing and an audience full of vapers. But with a collaborative collection this edgy about to swagger down the runway, what else would you expect?

Four designers showed as part of VFiles: Antwerp-based JunJie Yang, London-based Louis Pileggi and Christian Stone, and Chinese streetwear platform INXX. The youth-oriented collective presented a punchy collection of high-fashion streetwear, of which the highlights were a Yeezy-esque shag coat, giant puffer jackets, ancient prints and pirate vibes. The comprising designers are receiving mixed feedback from fashion critics, but you can't argue with the level of design flair.
