The Importance Of Healthy Eating

POSTED BY LARA HEMP

If you're of those people who's daydreaming about greasy burgers, fast forwards in Tasty video's just to see them cut the cheese-stuffed fried chicken in half and can easily chuck a bag of chips by your self in 3 minutes, eating healthy can be nothing less than anxiety provoking.

But no matter how aesthetically pleasing that mac n' cheese might be,committing to a healthy diet can be one of the smartest decisions you ever make. Yeah, it sucks, but not only can eating well make you look and feel better, it can save you money on future health costs.

When you don’t give your body proper nutrients, it’s unable to function at it's best. Crispy fries will get you going for 10 minutes - but try and eat a brocolli and you can add an extra 10 minutes to your life!Your body needs vitamins and minerals for almost every activity that happens in your body, like the production of skin, muscle, bones, for digestion, for replacing new cells and more.

If you don’t provide enough nutrition, your body will seek them out from less important parts of your body, like the hair or skin cells, which can lead to hair loss and cellulite. Over time, this can contribute to the risk of developing some illnesses and other health problems.

Have you ever heard the term: “You are what you eat”? It doesn’t mean you are a Hamburger if you eat one (even though you probably wouldn't mind if you were tho). It rather means if you mainly eat fresh and healthy, you will get a healthier and fitter version of yourself.

Everything you eat becomes a part of your inner being and the outer fabric of your body. The healthier the foods are that you consume, the healthier you will be. The reverse is true as well. The less attention we pay to what goes in our mouth, the more problems we may get with our health. If you mainly eat fatty foods your body and your organs will follow suit.

Food is fuel for your body. It has direct impact on how you feel as well as on your overall health.

If you give your body what it needs, your body will thank you with better health - AND! Healthy food taste nice AF. All you gotta do is to look up the right recipes.
