Nike's “Hot Punch” Air More Uptempo Is Just As Intoxicating As It Sounds
Let's get lit.
If you thought Nike's Air More Uptempo had gone a bit quiet since its 2017 release, you, good lady, would be wrong. The big, bad sneaker is back, and louder than ever.
The new women's-exclusive “Hot Punch” colorway does not mess about when it comes to statement-making. The punch-pink “AIR” logo is set against a predominantly black tumbled leather upper and outlined with neon yellow for optimum contrast – acidic watermelon feels. But that's not all: an orange inner lining and swoosh on both the tongue and the toe adds extra fruity vibrancy to the rave aesthetic.
Zoom in a little closer and there's also some lovely premium stitch work going on, as well as a modern take on flecked hiking laces and metal lace ends.
It looks like this pair will be dropping sometime in April, at an estimated retail price of $160.
