Nike's Vibrant Air Scream LWP Is A Blast From The Past

I scream, you scream...

POSTED BY DEE CUNNING

I scream, you scream, we all scream for Nike Air Scream! Because we can't get enough of retro sneaks right now, the brand has once again delved into its extensive archive to revive a decade-defining shoe. It won't have taken you long to guess that this one was born in the '90s – 1995 to be precise – by merit of its vibrant colorway.

The Air Scream LWP (lightweight performance) was originally released as a cross-trainer, and the sporty silhouette does indeed look fit. But the neon colors do the real talking here, contrasting a highlighter-yellow upper with a black leather overlay and a white midsole, and finishing with pink and turquoise accents. What a blast... from the past.

The sneaker isn't available in the US, but if you're in Europe, you can cop a pair at Solebox right now for around $135.

Next up, Nike's VaporMax Flyknit 2.0 'Crimson Pulse' has got our hearts racing.
