Nike's OG Streak Continues With 1991's Air Huarache “Purple Punch”

True to the very first drop.

POSTED BY DEE CUNNING

Nike is all about the retro color schemes this year, and not just for its various popular Air Max silhouettes. Its iconic 1991 sneaker-without-the-swoosh, the Air Huarache, is also getting some revival air time, returning in a “Purple Punch” that's true to the very first drop. The shoe combines purple, white and black, with most of the color concentrated toward the back for a distinctive look. We wonder if the choice had anything to with Pantone's 2018 color of the year, Ultra Violet.

The Nike Air Huarache “Purple Punch” is expected to drop sometime in March.
