Combining function, sport, simplicity and futurism.

Fashion and music are meant to go together – just look at the recent buzz for Zayn x Versace, Daft Punk x Saint Laurent, Kanye x A.P.C and so on. M.I.A. is the latest star to join the game, launching her debut merch line in collaboration with rising Danish label Astrid Andersen today.

‘I chose to work with Astrid because she is an independent women who combines function, sport, simplicity, and futurism,’ M.I.A. says. And M.I.A. has been on Astrid's radar for quite some time too: “She was the benchmark for cool women who would wear my new collection – so when she called me, I was mega-excited,” Andersen told Vogue.

The designer collab comes as M.I.A. prepares for a world tour this fall. The Scandi streetwear line includes orange and black anoraks, track pants and tees ranging from $70 to $160. The all-black anorak is even made from 100% recycled plastic – don't worry though, you won't look like you're wearing an upcycled bin bag.

Shop the collection now at M.I.A's new e-commerce site.
