Lupita Nyong'o has a new love in her life: a cute pup named Yoyo. The Oscar-winning actress introduced her adorable pet to the world at the LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles, where she dazzled in a sheer burgundy Gucci gown. The dress featured lace and point d'esprit panels that showed off her red bodysuit underneath. She accessorized with a diamond necklace and earrings, and a dark manicure.

Lupita looked radiant and happy as she posed with her furry friend, who she adopted after her breakup from Selema Masekela last month. The TV host and sports commentator dated Nyong'o for less than a year before they parted ways. She credited her best friend Palmer Hefferan for helping her get through the difficult time and finding her a new companion. She posted a touching tribute to Hefferan on Instagram, saying that she flew to be by her side and cooked for her, cried with her, and made her laugh. Nyong'o and Hefferan met in drama school and bonded over their passion for cooking, Us Weekly reported.
