Feat. an exclusive song by Karen O.

As the brand has proven time and again since creative directors creative directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon took the helm, KENZO are a pretty wily bunch when it comes to fashion films. Remember that show-stopping Fall/Winter 2017 short, written and directed by OITNB's Natasha Lyonne and starring Maya Rudolph? Now the label's latest more-than-just-a-fashion-campaign, directed by Ana Lily Amirpour, has premiered and it certainly doesn't disappoint.

The mesmerizing nine-minute short balances music, fashion and film, centering around the theme of “muses” by celebrating and re-imagining the concept. KENZO's Spring/Summer 2018 collection takes center stage, as well as Karen O's KENZO-original song “YO! MY SAINT,” which has just released globally. The cast is of full Asian descent, including Kiko Mizuhara, Jessica Henwick and Alex Zhang Hungtai.

“Humberto and I are technically the producers. The beautiful part about this is it’s two women that decided to make this film together. It’s an amazing artistic endeavor and a conversation between two women. A female musician and a female director. That’s kind of the starting point of this. We’re so excited for it to finally come out,” said Carol Lim.
