Jay Z Faces Criticism With His Fans In New Verse

POSTED BY JEAN MADZIMA

Jay Z has come under fire for his verse on the ‘All the way up’ song originally by Fat Joe, Remy Ma and French Montana. The song has unquestionably been gracing the charts and now a remix by Mr. Shawn Carter ‘Jay Z’ has just been dropped, but has already sparked up a conversation that has left millions of fans feeling outraged.
The Rapper makes reference to his baby by Beyoncé, ‘Blue Ivy’ to be sitting in the bathtub like 2pac, insinuating that the rapper is hating on 2pac and over glorifying his child who cannot be compared to the legend. Many have been angered that the rapper thinks his 4year old child is better than the late rap genius.
In addition, the rapper talks about his 21 Grammys and finally addressed the infidelity rumors in his wife’s Lemonade album to which he says ”You know you made it when the fact your marriage made it is worth millions/Lemonade is a popular drink and it still is/Survival of the Iittest”

Finally, the rapper talks about the late Prince and refers to his masters saying “Prince left his masters where they safe and sound. We never gonna let the elevator take him down.” Many are calling this line insensitive as Prince fought 20 years for this masters which he only got shortly before he was found dead in the elevator.
Are people being overly sensitive about this and just want a reason to hate Jay Z or are his raps really dressing down the dead music legends?
