Pharrell's Badass Muse Mette Towley Is The Next Teyana Taylor

In the latest who-is-she moment since Teyana Taylor's career-defining “Fade” appearance, all eyes are on the star dancer of N.E.R.D. and Rihanna's new “Lemon” video, Mette Towley. In the first single from Pharrell's funk hip-hop band since 2011, the video opens with Rihanna radically shearing off Towley's curls into a buzz-cut, before following her wiggling and dancing through an indoor market wearing N.E.R.D.'s new Training Gear collection with adidas.

The 26-year-old dancer has been part of Pharrell's dance troupe, “The Baes,” since 2014. “Mette is the scary one to me because she walks around with a psychic force,” Pharrell previously said, and he's not wrong – this girl's got attitude.
