A trendsetting fusion.

In an exciting turn for fashion enthusiasts and royal style admirers alike, Anine Bing, the L.A.-based Danish designer known for her eponymous brand's modern, chic aesthetics, has collaborated with athletic powerhouse Reebok to launch a capsule collection inspired by Princess Diana. This highly anticipated line, set to drop on April 9, pays homage to the late princess's effortless, off-duty style, which continues to influence fashion trends decades after her time.

The collaboration came to fruition after Bing and her team's visit to Reebok’s extensive archives in Boston. “Visiting Reebok’s archives was like taking a step back in time. I wanted to bring some of their iconic '80s and '90s styles into the present, with a fresh twist that’s perfect for today’s modern woman,” Bing remarked. The collection aims to blend the past and the present, drawing on a nostalgia that resonates with many while ensuring the pieces fit seamlessly into the contemporary wardrobe.

The capsule features reinterpretations of three classic Reebok footwear styles: the Freestyle Hi Shoes ($250), Classic Nylon Shoes ($220), and Classic Slides ($150). Each piece is thoughtfully designed to encapsulate the essence of Princess Diana's relaxed yet fashionable public persona. Alongside the footwear, the apparel line promises versatility and style, offering everything from oversized crew sweaters to bike shorts and bodysuits, priced between $80 and $200. The collection's color scheme sticks to a minimalist palette of black, white, blue, gray, and cream, allowing for endless mixing and matching possibilities.

Whether you're a long-time admirer of Princess Diana's style, a fan of Anine Bing's modern design approach, or someone who appreciates Reebok's heritage in sports and lifestyle fashion, this collection promises something for everyone.
