It Doesn't #AD Up: Insta Celebs Have Got The Feds On Their Back
Somebody’s In Trouble!
The Federal State Commission has officially done something about all those sponsored instagrams we see floating around social media. You know the ones, Kim posts a shot of herself with a product, she says how much she loves and believes in the product, we buy the product because if Kim says it works, Kim gets paid. Got it? Yah, so not cool!
From now on, all celebrities will be required to tell us when they’re being paid to endorse a product, that way we can tell if they’re only saying great things about the latest hair serum because they’re being paid to! Of course, if the celebs want to tell us about this amazing product they’ve discovered, totally off their own bat and they aren’t being rewarded for the pleasure, then that’s fine. The letters were actually sent out personally to the individual influencers, warning them to cut the crap, even to the likes of Naomi Campbell, Heidi Klum and Jennifer Lopez! Of course some other famous names cropped up in the firing line including, Jen Selter, Lindsay Lohan, Kourtney Kardashian, Zendaya and Emily Ratajkowski. Girls, you’ve been warned!
Behati Prinsloo, as well as Josie Maran Cosmetics recieved a Warning by the FTC
Looks like Heidi Klum just treated herself with some Dunkin Donuts? Appearently she was payed and both she and Nigel Travis, Dunkin Brands' CEO recieved a Warning.
