Chromat Aw 2015 Mindfiles

As one leaves behind the conceptual thought process that the body is the carrier of our soul, our conscious, our sprit, it is then possible to explore beyond cognition. As Chromat presented their AW 2015 creations, the boning and skeletal work of shined leather and blue velvet was apparent: the interior was on the exterior. The expansion of our stabilized concepts was apparent and realized by Martine Rothblatt’s post-human mindflies presentation. A world beyond realization that takes one’s conception of the female human body and enhances it with lingerie-esque bionic woman artificiality. The designers notorious exoskeletal lingerie in bondage style sensuality, we captured softly, elegantly and synthetically enough to see the realness of the futuristic bionic woman and the richness of the season.
