God Is Dead And All The Demons Are Here!

POSTED BY BECKY WILLOUGHBY

We’ve all heard the phrase “less is more”, and at one time or another, been told that downsizing our stuff is where it’s at to save Planet Earth – usually by polite and preppy dressed neo-liberal middle class types, for whom having enough “stuff”, really isn’t an issue – so, if your attitude is anything but minimal, but style-wise you like to keep it simply badass, you might find a place in your black little heart, for LA’s ‘Black and Greige’; an independent label, for the “minimalist rebel.”

Shot in the distinctive “let’s tear sh*t up style” by Fizzy faves Evil Eye Cult (aka Christopher Angelo Spencer) the stark-black layering pieces of the “God is dead and all the demons are here” editorial, shows us that there is an alternative aesthetic for those of us who lean towards the minimal, but bork a little if all that suggests to us style-wise, is: the image of a round of golf at a private members country club.

For something a little more fierce than pressed chinos and polished brogues, check out this collection of on-fire layering separates; from sweat pants, to stand out pieces like the “Blackout Block Print Tank”; simple silhouettes with attitude – these will all work together.

Evil Eye’s darlings of #demongoals – Models Nik Castanon and Katrina Hunter – are styled into the darkest side of a mental take on minimalism by Braxton Holme, and combined with bold MUA by Madelin Smith, provide a dose of dope, to cure your getting dressed “decision fatigue”, leaving more time and energy for a rebel run around.
