The Nike Air Force 1 Low Foamposite Gets A Coral Glow-Up
The impossible shoe.
Nike Foamposites first debuted in 1997, and they were pretty unbelievable back then. In fact, when the designs were first presented, everyone from Nike designers to manufacturers in China thought that they'd be impossible to make. Inspired by the hard shells of beetles, Foamposites are basically sneakers with an exoskeleton – I mean, they look like they've evolved for the tough conditions of the apocalypse or something.
These Air Force 1 Lows are our faves of the range, updating an iconic style into an even cleaner aesthetic. Arriving in a 'Coral Stardust/Black' colorway, they perfectly strike the balance between pretty and edgy.
The pair drop today for $180 at Nike retailers.
Next up, Nike's new Air Max 98 looks like a dessert.
